Alicia has been a writer for as long as she can remember. During her childhood, you’d find her curled up in a quiet corner crafting stories and poems from her family home in the Yorkshire countryside. Alongside writing, Alicia’s other big love is travelling. It’s one of the main reasons she initially became a nurse. She knew it could take her anywhere in the world, and it did.
She spent two years soaking up the sun down under and hiking through the mountains of New Zealand. Alicia relocated back to the UK two years ago to make the most of Europe on her doorstep and begin her freelance writing career.
She now writes with the freedom of knowing she can pick up her work and take it anywhere her travels take her. When she’s not writing, Alicia is usually reading anything written by Taylor Jenkins Reid or Sally Rooney, travelling, bouldering and spending quality time at home with her loved ones and two little tabby cats (who love trying to sit on her keyboard whenever she sits down to write)!
